ラグナボーテ株式会社（本社：兵庫県神戸市、代表取締役：野村啓輝。以下「ラグナボーテジャパン」）およびPT Kosmetika Laguna Indonesia（以下「ラグナボーテインドネシア」）は、このたび、インドネシア共和国のUniversitas Syiah Kuala（シアクアラ大学／USK）医学部と、皮膚科学およびスキンケア領域における共同研究の実施について合意いたしました。
ラグナボーテジャパンは「肌環境をデザインする」を掲げ、東京大学との共同研究をはじめ、科学と医療の知見を取り入れた製品開発を進めてまいりました。現在は、大丸松坂屋百貨店での常設展開に加え、アジアを中心とした海外展開にも取り組んでいます。
ラグナボーテインドネシアは、インドネシアにおける事業展開および現地機関との連携を担っています。
今回の合意は、日本で培ってきた研究・製品開発の知見と、インドネシアにおける現地基盤、シアクアラ大学医学部の専門的知見を結びつけるものです。当社が推進する「肌環境設計™」の科学的理解をさらに深め、海外における研究開発基盤を構築するための重要な一歩と位置づけています。
今後は、三者それぞれの専門性と知見を生かし、皮膚科学およびスキンケア領域における共同研究を推進してまいります。
Laguna Beauté Japan and Laguna Beauté Indonesia Reach Agreement with the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala, on Joint Research
Laguna Beauté Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture; Representative Director: Hiroaki Nomura; hereinafter “Laguna Beauté Japan”) and PT Kosmetika Laguna Indonesia (hereinafter “Laguna Beauté Indonesia”) have reached an agreement with the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia, to conduct joint research in the fields of dermatology and skincare.
Under the concept of “Designing the Skin Environment,” Laguna Beauté Japan has pursued product development incorporating scientific and medical insights, including joint research with the University of Tokyo. The company currently maintains a permanent retail presence at Daimaru Matsuzakaya department stores and is expanding its business across Asia.
Laguna Beauté Indonesia is responsible for the Group’s business development in Indonesia and for building partnerships with local institutions.
This agreement brings together the research and product development expertise cultivated in Japan, Laguna Beauté Indonesia’s local foundation, and the medical expertise of the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Syiah Kuala. It represents an important step toward further advancing the scientific understanding of our “Skin Environment Design™” concept and establishing an international research and development platform.
Moving forward, the three parties will combine their respective expertise and knowledge to promote joint research in the fields of dermatology and skincare.
